Only 25 Days Until Our Wedding!
Wow! 25 days and we'll be married!!!
It sure is crunch time now. If you're planning on spending the night in Waukesha but haven't made your hotel reservations yet, now is the time (accommodations). Our reception hall, Country Springs, has already released our remaining blocked rooms. You might still be able to get a room there, but it may not be the rate we posted since those rates expired. However, the Marriott down the road is still blocking rooms for us at a discounted rate until this weekend (8/17).
We made some incredible progress this past weekend with our florist especially, as well as the DJ, photographer, and church arrangements. There is still a lot of work to be done in just a short time, but things are finally coming together. Wednesday afternoon we have to buzz up to Waukesha to get our marriage license, and coming up this weekend is my second dress fitting in Oak Creek and cake selection way up in Westfield, WI.
We're also starting to talk honeymoon again! At first we weren't sure if we could because of Naveen's new job, but we can definitely take a week off when the time is right. We won't be going right away in September because our Hindu ceremony is fast approaching in October, and it would be best to go on a relaxing trip after both are complete. However, we have other friends getting married about that time, so we'll probably fit the honeymoon in the first week of November or thereabouts. We've been talking about Caribbean cruises that look affordable and require little planning, or alternatively some all-inclusive resorts. Any advice - please share!
